Specialities
-
As part of my work responsibilities, I had to thoroughly examine grant applications and financial proposals submitted by various community groups and non-profit organizations.
Evaluating the feasibility and impact of funding requests was a crucial part of my job, and I had to use my analytical skills to determine which proposals aligned with our organization's goals and priorities.
I worked closely with program managers and funding agencies to ensure that grants were distributed fairly and transparently and that the funds were used for their intended purposes.
Through my experience in grant evaluation, I developed a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of accountability, as I understood that the allocation of funds could have a significant impact on the success or failure of the recipient organizations.
As part of my role, I also had to provide guidance and support to community groups and associations, helping them to navigate the grant application process and access the resources they needed to achieve their goals.
Over time, I developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by grassroots organizations and the important role they play in creating positive social change, which inspired me to continue working in the nonprofit sector.

As an activist, I have been involved in various campaigns and initiatives that aimed to promote individual rights and freedoms, such as advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, gender equality, and religious tolerance.
I strongly believe in the principles of social justice and have worked with community groups and organizations to address issues of climate change and access to healthcare and education. Equity has also been a key focus of my activism, and I have been actively involved in campaigns that seek to reduce economic and social disparities, particularly for marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Through my experiences in activism, I have learned the importance of collaboration and coalition-building, and have worked with a diverse range of individuals and groups to bring about positive change. I have also developed a deep appreciation for the power of advocacy and activism to effect change at both the individual and systemic levels, and am committed to continuing this work in the future.
Overall, my experiences of activism have given me a greater understanding of the complex social and political issues that impact our communities, and have inspired me to work towards creating a more just and equitable world for all.

Throughout my professional experience, I had the opportunity to be responsible for a continental program called TransformAfrica towards a socio-ecological transformation in Africa.
My main responsibility aims to put and establish a transnational network of experts, activists, and practitioners from across Africa working on different aspects of socio-ecological transformation processes, to strengthen the narrative of a participatory, just, and sustainable transformation, and to encourage public debate on the development and the implementation of new social and environmental policies. This included topics such as:
- Participatory Urban Development
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Energy Transition
- Waste Management
- Natural Resources -
Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for photography and have pursued various artistic projects. I particularly enjoy capturing public scenes of daily life through my lens.
My first exhibition, the culmination of a project that I initiated in 2015, features a collection of photographs taken during Ramadan, which I have named #Tramdina. The title is meant to highlight the half-lethargic and half-angry state that some people experience during the month of Ramadan, which is the opposite of the personal introspective state that makes people more serene and contemplative.
Through my photography, I aim to showcase the reality of Moroccan streets and the experiences of those who inhabit them. Recently, I have been focusing my work on the situation of women and men in public and communal spaces, with the goal of shedding light on issues of gender equality and social justice.
I am passionate about using my art to inspire social change and promote greater awareness and understanding of the world around us. I believe that photography has the power to create empathy and connection, and I am committed to continuing to explore this medium to create meaningful and impactful works of art
